Top 10 Reasons To Retreat

Retreats are becoming increasingly popular and there’s a wide range of options for which kind of retreats one can attend - fitness retreats, yoga retreats, writing retreats, and more. Taking a typical vacation is always nice, yet taking time for a deeper experience to self-reflect and become more conscious about their life journey can be highly beneficial. The past few years have revealed enormous challenges and opportunities, including within ourselves for growth and expansion. Many people are exploring new ways to rid themselves of their old patterns, and looking for something more - a deeper experience in life - one that provides inspiration, guidance, and direction.

My retreats are similar in some ways, and unique in others depending on the location and time of year. They are designed to include a combination of exploring beautiful locations in nature, yoga and exploration of the self. Below are some reasons to make the commitment to yourself and answer the longing of your soul:

  1. Get Clarity: Learn to look objectively at your life and determine a more clear path forward, one that answers the call of your heart. I promise it is worthwhile to explore whatever has been holding you back in your life.

  2. Distance: When we step away from our daily lives, slow down and create some space, it becomes easier to see how we got stuck and begin to see our way forward. Taking precious time away from the busyness of life to relax, restore and renew in mind, body, and spirit is essential.

  3. Have A Breakthrough: It’s never easy to resolve conflict in the midst of clutter and distractions in our daily lives. Whether you are seeking a new business idea, a new relationship, self-love, inner peace, or anything else, often the answers you crave are right there, waiting to be discovered.. Sometimes you just need to get quiet enough inside, and be in a safe space.

  4. Evolve:  I’ve dedicated my life and career to evolving from the inside out, to awaken to my purpose and potential. When we explore our lives through a more conscious, healthy lens, and learn practical ways to move forward, transformation is inevitable.

  5. Connect With Nature: The busy modern world of cell phones, social media have many of us wired-in and constantly stimulated. Taking time to unplug and walk along the beach or hiking trails makes all the difference in the world. Fresh air, negative ions, and being near plants and animals helps us to unwind and relax. There is nothing better than star-gazing in the night sky to gain some perspective on what is really important in our lives.

  6. Awaken Your Creativity: Revelation and inspiration happen in these moments, and solutions begin to appear.

  7. You Deserve It: Allow yourself to be taken care of… you deserve it! Women especially are hard-wired to be nurturers, often taking on the role of taking care of everyone else. Very often women become disconnected from their source and forget that when they nurture themselves first and learn to shine their light, everyone in their sphere of influence benefits.

  8. No planning on your end! Once you arrive for a retreat, we have already taken care of all of the details that typically cause stress while taking a trip - meals are planned, an itinerary will be ready for you with enough room for you to decide if you want more or less time for yourself. All activities are optional!

  9. Excursions! Every retreat has activities planned to enjoy the location on site and off. Whether a snorkeling trip, a cooking class, hikes, visits to nearby towns and attractions, it’s included and planned with the intention to add to your experience.

  10. FUN! This is the best part! Expect laughter, meeting new, like minded people who are on their own journey of life, just like you.

I am always amazed by the breakthroughs and transformations that occur during our spiritual healing retreats. When we come together united in the purpose of evolving, we lift each other up, and there is no limit to what we can accomplish.
